The image shows the ceramicist Tony Conway and crystallographer David Hay at the opening of Tony's show at View Street Gallery, Bendigo. It's a splendid show with very lively glazes and forms. Unfortunately, though, still no emu. By the way, the opening was a cracking success and big crowd and very precious atmosphere. To a degree, the emu was more talked about in its absence than it would be in its presence.

Emu not in Bendigo
