New gallery opening in London

Just as the Crafts Council gallery is closing London, ceramicist-writer Edmund de Waal has taken the bull by the horns and established his own gallery in south London (6 Parade Mews, Tulse Hill, just near Brixton). Pictured here with Danish ceramicist Marie Thermann, de Waal has been busy this week cleaning up the building for the grand opening. The gallery promises to be an important bespoke venue for the appreciation of finely made and conceived craft. Cheers Edmund! Posted by Picasa
