Norfolk speak

There was much discussion about Norfolk Island during Margarita's artist's talk. The weaving scene appears to be very strong, with particular traditions remaining from the polynesian heritage. Some concerns were raised about the recent ultimatum to bring Norfolk Island under Commonwealth juristiction. In an act of proud Norfolk culture, Margarita's partner Bugs read from the exhibition text in the rollicking Norfolk language. Posted by Picasa
