Springing

Warwick Freeman had his sixth opening at Funaki Gallery last night. The gallery has been going for eleven wonderful years now, and Freeman has now broken his own world record for the greatest number of shows at Funaki. There are some extraordinary pieces on display. Freeman shows his characteristically 'boldly sensitive' approach to materials. The pieces uses horse-teeth are particularly startling.
Meanwhile, Bendigo is preening itself for the forum this Saturday. The cheery trees and wattle are in full blossom. Apparently it's an early spring this year as the seasons seem to be in a bit of a hurry. Perhaps its just the pace of modern life.
