	Mornington Regional Gallery have put together a wonderful exhibition of wood carving by John K. Blogg (1851-1936). Drawing with Chisels includes many of his extraordinary sculptures, which demonstrate great delicacy and fondness of nature. Their attempt to imitate nature is quite different to contemporary approaches that attempt to let the wood speak for itself.
	Demonstrating the craft at the gallery is Merle Baring, member of the Peninsular Wood-turning Guild. There's also the Southern Peninsular Association of Wood-turners, showing what a popular pursuit this is down along the bay.
