We're glad it's pay week this week at Craft Vic, otherwise we'd be dipping into our savings this weekend! Check out these two awesome events which are happening pretty much a stone's throw from each other - first up it's ceramacist Katie Jacobs who'll be opening up her studio doors at Northcote Pottery (while you're there check out Matthew Briscoe's exhibition Transformation). Yay Katie!
Here's what Katie says:
"There'll be samples of ceramic works (salt and pepper shakers, vases), brooches and necklaces, as well as awesome hand-made cards.
"It is on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December at my studio in Brunswick, 144 Weston St (off Lygon).
"I also have work at the brilliant new Pieces of Eight gallery in the city (and Fitzroy) and Craft Victoria (city) too, so feel free to pop in there to check it out as well! None of those places stock the same stuff, nor will it be available at the studio sale...that is the thing with handmade! Very hard to repeat!"
And just around the corner (maybe a few corners actually) it's the Christmas Design Mini Market featuring a collection of wonderful people including COUNTER stockist/ceramacist Tara Shackell.

O M G, this weekend is going to be so awesome.
Don't forget as well that it's the last Craft Hatch for 2010 on Saturday... which can only mean one thing: this weekend is the weekend to do your CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!
