Things to do this Saturday!

There's plenty of good stuff happening this Saturday - well two things actually - but still, it's a lot more than usual!

Starting at 11am, we've got the May edition of Craft Hatch, our monthly market for emerging makers. Head on over to 253 Flinders Lane to the Gallery at the City Library where you'll find 11 talented and passionate artists - most of whom are participating in Craft Hatch for the very first time! Click here to view the full list of artists.

Once you're done moseying around at Craft Hatch, make your way up to Craft Victoria to listen to current exhibitors Michelle Hamer, Kate Just and Chaco Kato (pictured above and below) speak about their work at 2pm. Click here for further details!

So artist talks and an emerging artist market - sounds like a whopper of a Saturday! Of course, don't forget that Craft Victoria is open on a Saturday from 10am to 5pm (as always). Make sure you check out the great installations in our windows too!

Currently at enCOUNTER is Sandra Eterovic's objet mart, a 2D 'town' inhabited by colourful characters like the Lady with a Village on her Head, Chanel Man and a couple of headless Footballers. Next to objet mart is a mini installation of work by our COUNTER maker behind May's Product of the Month, Kirsten Perry (stay tuned for an upcoming feature on Kirsten!)

Here are the details again (in a larger font size so you don't forget):

11am-4pm Craft Hatch, City Library Gallery, 253 Flinders Lane

See you there!
