novelist, media theorist, web publisher, VJ artist, and remix artist is here in
Melbourne to discuss the future of the remix. In contemporary culture we have
utilized this ambiguous term of ‘appropriation’ to encompass a giant pool of
techniques and processes that are liable to fall under scrutiny in the legal
