Kevin Murray, Ilka White (artist) and Anthea van Kopplen (curator, Wool Museum) at the opening of Ilka's Whitework, a Craft Victoria show that has travelled down the Princess Highway to Geelong. It coincided with a very popular show, Trash or Treasure, featuring strange collections such as shark teeth and electrical conductors. From the hoarding of old objects to a contemporary opening up of the trousseau. It's the middle of a busy week, with the opening of the Flinders Quarter Handmade to Wear award (see
photos) on Tuesday night and the Melbourne Undercurrent for the South Project tonight.
