Nigerian gallerist and bead collector Jumoke Debayo at the opening of her exhibition the
Beaded Link at Counihan Gallery, Moreland. The exhibition explores the importance of the bead as a decorative and religion element in the various cultures of the commonwealth. She is pictured with the Kenyan-born director of the Afro-Beats festival (who disappeared before giving his name because he realised he had left his wallet in a taxi).
The Beaded Link sits alongside
Threading the Commonwealth as a great craft collection.
