Words of wisdom about the craft boom in Victoria

A recent feature in The Age written by Dan Rule includes some well-made insights from a key local voice:

Rebecca Jobson, retail manager at Craft Victoria - where you can find anything from handmade cards and toys through to highend ceramics - understands craft's newfound popularity as part of a wider DIY philosophy.

"I put this whole thing under the umbrella of DIY culture," she says. "It's about you wanting to take ownership over what you consume via your own production. You make your own music, you make your own food, you grow your own garden."
