Emerging fashion designer Alexi Freeman is renowned for his unique blend of artisanal printing techniques, patterning and tailoring. In 2009 Alexi and MATERIALBYPRODUCT will combine their craft-based practices for a new installation AFVMBP0309CV247LMFFCP, in Craft Victoria’s enCounter window (part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program 2009)….
…In the meantime, you can get a taste for Alexi's flair at “The Edge: Fashion at Fed Square”, part of the City of Melbourne’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week official program and presented in conjunction with Federation Square and Arts Events (L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week). Alexi will presenting his Spring/Summer 08/09 range Nautical but Nice.
The Edge: Fashion @ Fed Square will take place on WED 3 SEPT. Doors open at 8.45pm for 9.30pm start. Tickets on the door for $15.
