Urban Interior Occupation opening

Here at CVHQ we embrace change with open arms, and as In The Making drew to a close to make way for our latest exhibition Interior Occupation, we not only held the opening on Tuesday (instead of traditional Thursdays), but even had red wine* on hand! Amazing! Curated by the Urban Interior Research Group, a creative research group based at RMIT University, Interior Occupation has taken over the space with performances, sights, sounds, smells, thoughts and has transformed the gallery into research laboratory.

The opening night featured a stripped down gallery space - no objects, artefacts, artworks, just you and I (Get it? Urban Interior = UI! What a bunch of clever clogs...) There is a different performance/activity every night, so do download the program by clicking here and stay up to date. Tonight at 6pm come experience Phase 1 of 'Visualising Air'. We're not going to give away how exactly one visualises air of course, you'll have to come see it!

To whet your appetite, here are some images from the opening night:

*Yours truly is afraid the red wine was a one-time-only offer...
