Craft Hatch in December

Coming up this Saturday is Craft Hatch market, Craft Victoria's market for students and emerging designers. Held at the City Library on Level 1 in the Gallery and Seminar rooms, Craft Hatch features 13 wonderful stallholders brimming to their ears with talent and enthusiasm.

A perfect opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done, the stallholders at Craft Hatch have been carefully selected to provide a spectrum of products - something for everyone! Stallholders this month include familiar faces Jules Musgrove, Jude Ng and RMIT Gold & Silversmithing as well as ceramics from Elise Bishop, letterpress stationery from Meaghan Barbuto of Vince, bags from Christiane Poulos, leather bags and accessories from Woot 'n' Wright, knitwear from Wendy Voon, wall decals for kids by Monique Gaspar, furniture from Studio Hip, jewellery and bags from Mingus Designs and jewellery from Box Hill TAFE and Simone Hede.

Here is a selection of images from the participating stallholders:

For an overview of the market, visit our website or you can click here for the CLOG write-up on the November market.

Remember folks, its City Library not State Library - yours truly knows more than one woolly-headed cherub who made their way to the latter location only to be sorely disappointed! The City Library is located on 253 Flinders Lane (next to Journal). Walk up the stairs and you'll find yourself in craft heaven.

Don't forget to have some money handy on your person as eftpos facilities are not available on the day. That being said, there are several ATMs nearby, so not to worry if you're a few dollars short of a new accessory!
