Compendium of Me, Compendium of Beci.

Is there anything this woman cannot do? Stitching faces on cushions, designing adorable stationery, illustrating giraffes for t-shirts, amidst the rest of it, Beci Orpin decided that she needed to spread her wings just that little bit wider. Launching tonight is the one and only Compendium of Me, Beci Orpin’s 30 pages of illustrated nostalgia. Back in September of this year, Beci dug deep into the ground to dig up the roots of her reality. Those realities, those snippets of life for her as it was, now come to life for us all through Beci’s graphic illustrations.

Compendium of Me will be born tonight, down at Lamington Drive, 15-25 Keele Street Collingwood. Estimated time of delivery: between 6 and 9pm. Each baby is individually numbered out of 1000 and if you’re lucky, you might even be able to get your copy signed by the humble superstar herself. If other engagements have been pencilled in already, there is no need to fret. The book will be available for purchase at Craft Victoria from next week, online post launch, through Beci or the publishing people, Erm Books.
