We are inviting participants to visit our studio & shop and create their own unique textile design using Cuisenaire (or counting rods) as the only design element. This textile design can then be used on your mattt bag of choice.

The repurposing of this iconic mathematical teaching aid encourages playful interaction with the creative process and questions our perception of everyday objects.
Count on it is an interactive DIY-fabric/bag design 'workshop' presented by local awesome bag label mattt. Using Cuisenaire rods (pictured above), which a lot of you would've encountered in your childhood wonder years, you're invited to make a pleasing arrangement which will be scanned and printed on to fabric and transformed into a bag of your choice.
